poem by Stars Rain Sun Moon

You know when your reader is sometimes full of fascinating stuff sometimes ho-hum stuff, but then there is that special person writing something truly lovely and exceptional every single time? That’s Mari at starsrainsunmoon – follow her! Something beautiful I notice at WordPress is that poetry, considered a dying art by the publishing industry (it makes little money), is flourishing all over the place. We need poetry, and we need real poets to tell us how life is, and confirm what we already know but keep forgetting.

In Memory

Sometimes I get lost
Against thirty six pines
Becoming perfectly aligned
With more sight, in the private holiness of your hands
