Monday is the moon’s day. Changeable, mysterious, lighting the night yet flaunting its dark side. Who will be your muse? The bright sun or the inconstant moon? I’d like to rely on the sun, but I sense that the ebb and flow of inspiration owes more to the draw of the moon. It can’t be a mistake that the Greeks linked poetic inspiration to Pegasus, the winged horse. Quick to fly to you, and just as quick to bolt away. You have to work by the light of inspiration whenever it shines, because you never know when it will leave you trudging in the dark again. On the bright side, what wanes will always wax again – just give it time!
